Costumes

Costumes play an important part in bringing our production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to life. We work carefully to ensure all dancers look fantastic on stage while keeping costs as reasonable as possible.

Costume Costs

Costumes are priced based on your child’s grade and number of dances. Students in multiple classes or featured roles may need extra costumes, reflected in the pricing. All ballet students will perform a minimum of two dances.

First Steps, Pre-Primary, Primary, and Grade 1 Ballet students will hire their main costume from FAB. Hired costumes must be returned, but any accessories provided may be kept. Please ensure your child has clothing to change in after the shows have finished as costumes must be returned before leaving the venue.

Costumes will be given out during class in labelled bags. All costume items must be brought to the theatre on Sunday 29th March only, unless your teacher advises otherwise. Students should also bring their own tights and required dance shoes.

Please note there is a small £5 increase on costume costs this year due to supplier price rises. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Payment Information

Costume payments will be invoiced directly to parents. Invoices will be sent once choreography has been finalised and costumes have been confirmed for each dancer, ensuring you are only charged for the costumes your child actually needs.

We will inform you if any additional items, such as tights or shoes, are required, although every measure is taken to avoid extra costs.

Students taking on main or featured roles may be required to attend extra rehearsals outside of their usual timetable. Please see the cast schedule below. Fees are applicable to students who do not normally attend Friday lessons.

First Steps, Pre-Primary, and Primary students do not attend Friday run-throughs.
