The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe

Service Description

Our bi-annual dance production is a cornerstone of the school year, bringing every student together on the professional theatre stage to tell a single, powerful story through dance. This year’s production, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, invites audiences to journey into the magical world of Narnia as it unfolds across two acts. Through a rich blend of classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap and modern styles, our dancers bring C.S. Lewis’s beloved story to life — from the quiet discovery of the wardrobe to the triumphant coronation that restores peace to the land. Unlike a traditional showcase, this production is entirely narrative-led. Every class performs as part of the story, contributing to the world, characters and atmosphere of Narnia. Dancers of all ages and levels work together to create a cohesive theatrical experience, where movement, music and storytelling are woven seamlessly together. Preparation for this production involves dedicated rehearsal time beyond regular classes. These additional rehearsals are an essential part of the creative process and ensure that each dancer is fully prepared to perform confidently and safely on stage. Our bi-annual production is a celebration of commitment, creativity and growth. With evocative choreography, carefully crafted staging and a cast that spans the entire school, this performance reflects the passion and dedication of our students and teaching team. We are proud to share this story with you and invite you to experience the magic of Narnia with us.
